Experience of NEITCO in conducting Mass Employment Generation Training Programme

With the objectives ofcreating self and wage employment opportunities for the under privileged class in the decentralized productive and service sectors through Motivational and Skill Upgradation Training, NEITCO has been conducting Mass Employment Generation Training Programames under the sponsorship of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India since 1990-91. Since 1990-91 to 2000-07 NEITCO conducted Mass Employment Generation Training Programmes for various target groups such as Tribals, Scheduled Caste and Tribes, Women and those disadvantageously placed in the society for undertaking productive and income generating activities especially relating to entire decentralized
sector such as Weaving, Electrical and Electronic items repairing, Multi-Purpose Mechanic, Electrical wiring, Handicrafts, Screen Printing and other artisan and skill oriented activities.
